Hey friends! I FINALLY finished my master bathroom makeover. This was a project that was started at the beginning of quarantine but pregnancy and procrastination kicked in, and it took me forever to finish it. It was also a little difficult to actually shop for things to decorate and paint during this pandemic at the beginning. I’m slowly redoing our house – room by room! I am not a huge fan of the color that every room was painted when we moved in because it gives everything a yellow tone, and I love the look of white walls because it brightens everything up so much. Trying to convince Kalep to get the living room/kitchen area painted white!
Anyway, our bathroom doesn’t have a ton of natural lighting so it looked especially yellow in there. It made such a difference painting it white and lightening things up in there. We got the cabinets sanded like I did Mila’s bathroom. I got my cousin who does cabinet and construction work to do it for me this go round because pregnancy. It was nice to not have to deal with all that sanding this time. I did do the painting (before I knew I was pregnant) and did the wallpaper myself. I found it for a steal of a price here! It’s Magnolia by Joanna Gaines. I do recommend looking for peel-n-stick wallpaper vs. the old school type of paper because it was so much more of a hassle doing this tiny wall vs. Mila’s big wall in her room. This project didn’t cost a ton which is so nice and we didn’t make huge changes, but it’s amazing what little things like paint and hardware can do for a room. I hope this inspires you to take on a project in your own home! I linked everything I could down below. Also you won’t believe that I paid $0.02 for the rugs in there! They happened to be on crazy sale at Home Depot and they rang up for ONE cent each!
