Little bit of a picture overload, but it’s her first birthday party! 😉
Mila turned 1 on November 11th, but we had her birthday party this past Sunday! It was so much fun and Mila loved every bit of it!
When deciding on a theme, I was so indecisive. I wanted something fun but not super “theme-y” (if that makes sense). Everyone kept telling me to do something with llamas because Mila went through a phase (and still sometimes in it) where she “spit” at people. I tweaked it just a bit and went with Kidchella! Coachella was one of the best experiences I’ve had and I love everything boho, cactus, and so on. It also helped that we have a lot of boho decor in our house and in her room, so we could incorporate a lot of it into her party. We still included some llamas! Pizza, soft tacos, churros, donuts and lots more were on the menu because that’s half the fun of festivals. I could full on plan birthday parties for a living! I loved everything about it! It also helps that between my mom, aunt and I (and a great friend – Kalie) – we have a full service package! 😉
Special thanks to our families who helped us with everything and bringing it all together! Decorating the party, eating all the food and everything in between were great, but overall, we were so happy to get to spend time with our closest family and friends to celebrate Mila’s first year! I think you all know how special this last year has been to me and how much Mila lights up our world! Thank you to all who came and made it special for all of us!
