We had our baby shower this past weekend, so I just wanted to share a few pictures from it! It was a fall theme, and we just gave it a bit of a twist by adding succulents to the pumpkins (& cookies and cake!) It was a bummer though because we actually had a baby “shower” and the rain decided to attend, so we had to move everything inside, so it took away from the decor and pretty outdoor lighting. It was still so much fun though to share the evening with close family and friends, and I’m so thankful for everyone that came to show Baby W (still has no name) so much love! I know she’ll love all the special people in our lives just as much as we do. Also, wanted to say thank you so much to my mom, mother in law, and all my hostesses for all they did for the shower & our beautiful stroller & car seat. I’m obsessed with it already and you can find it here!
Also, wanted to share a quick DIY for the succulent pumpkins. I’m using them as decor around the house for fall because I absolutely loved the way they turned out. Lowe’s Home Improvement store has the absolute cutest REAL pumpkins – in peach, shades of grey, cream colors. You can also pick up a few succulents while you’re there – it’s better to go with bigger succulents so you don’t have to put too much work into combining different ones to make it full. Cut around the top of the pumpkin, clean it out and stuff it with the dirt/soil that comes with the succulent and use some dried moss which you can find from Hobby Lobby to use as filler. That’s it & now you’ve got a quick and easy fun fall decoration (for less than $20).
