Make this color block poncho #2 being featured on S&S! Clearly, I have a love for them. I was actually given this poncho from NewChic, along with a sequined blazer that will be featured here in the next couple of days just in time for an NYE look. The people at NewChic reached out to me a couple of weeks ago because they were interested in doing a collaboration with me, and I could not have been more excited. I’m super new to blogging, so it was really awesome to have my first company have an interest in partnering with me! We all have to start somewhere, so it was encouraging to know I’m doing at least a little something right, even if I do a lot wrong (lol!) with this whole blogging thing.
For the integrity of my blog, I have to give my honest opinion about the clothes I wear, and feature on here, and I have to say I was a little skeptical of the quality of the clothing at first because of how low the prices were when I was looking around NewChic’s website, but I was pleasantly surprised when I received the package in the mail. This poncho is just as good of quality as the other poncho I wore in a previous post that was more pricey. A poncho is meant to keep you warm, and this one does exactly that while being totally fashionable. I absolutely love the fall/winter colors of it, and how cozy it is. You also can’t beat the $14 price tag. If you get a chance, take a look around their website!
Now let’s move on to the OTK boots. I was so excited to finally get my hands on these because they were out of stock EVERYWHERE in this color when I was first trying to order them. They’re also available in black and grey. I love this taupe color because it goes with so much. They are a perfect dupe for the Stuart Weitzman Highland boots for a whole $650 cheaper. Not going to lie though, I definitely wouldn’t wear them if I was going to do a lot of walking in a day.
I hope everyone is having a happy Tuesday, and that we all continue to pray for our home states of Texas and those affected by this crazy weather from the tornadoes to the winter storm Goliath. Stay safe and warm everyone!
